PJ's  is a celebration of wearable art and all things bright and beautiful, designed  for jewelry aficionados and jewelry shoppers in late 2007 and most recently evolving to include a bridal jewelry and wedding accessories.

Our goal at PJ's is to become your favorite jewelry shopping resource and a source of inspiration, information, and products for brides-to-be as they plan their special day. From our helpful information about shopping for jewelry to our Designers Showcase and Gallery Shops, we do the research to save you time and money. We wholeheartedly support the work of independent jewelry designers and artisans around the world, and while our emphasis was originally on showcasing designer handcrafted jewelry, we are growing into a comprehensive jewelry shopping network and pleased to present a wide selection of handpicked jewelry pieces from our favorite online stores, giving our visitors a large array of jewelry products to choose from in one quick and easy access.

Susan Dorling is the founder and editor of PJ's. She is delighted to share her passion for jewelry with other jewelry lovers! As former editor of the Fashion Jewelry and Jewelry Collecting sites at BellaOnline, Susan has written and published more than 150 articles about fine and fashion jewelry and the hobby of jewelry and gemstone collecting, many of which have been re-published at quality content websites and through various print media. All of these articles will eventually be re-published here at PJ's and new articles are always being added to the article data base.

In addition to writing about jewelry from a fashion and collector perspective, many of Susan's articles are in support of women's health issues such as ovarian cancer or to spread awareness of jewelry industry issues such as conflict diamonds and dirty gold. As such we place a strong emphasis on supporting those designers and retailers who donate a portion of their proceeds to help other people, animals, and the environment and actively seek them out to add to our jewelry shopping resources feature.

During her tenure with BellaOnline, Susan had the opportunity to interview several successful jewelry designers, retailers, and gemstone merchants, like the Kirk family of Kirks Folly fame—Barbara Smigel of Artistic Colored Stones—Elvis Presley's personal jeweler, Lowell Hayes—Gigi Garner, Hollywood designer for many celebrities and television shows—multi-talented artist and musician, Molly Magdalain of New York City's StarStrings—former Hollywood movie producer, Elliot Abbot of The Hollywood Collection, and others.

Over the years she learned amazing things about jewelry from an historical and cultural perspective. The more she learned, the more she wanted to know, and PJ's is the culmination of all that research and was originally developed to keep track of her writing and research notes.
