Elaine Haydon

DESIGNER PROFILE

Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, Elaine moved to Santa Cruz, California at the age of 16. She worked in floral design for a few years while studying Fashion Merchandising, which led to a career in the Fashion industry for the next 11 years. Ultimately, her career in the fashion industry brought her to Los Angeles area, where she eventually settled with her husband and two children in south Orange County, California.

 Elaine’s start in jewelry design began out of providence. After her mother returned from a trip to Paris and described a necklace that she had fallen in love with but regrettably had not purchased, she told Elaine “I bet you could make it for me”. Never one to retreat from a challenge, she did, the resultant piece being different and unique. Emboldened by her early success, Elaine began designing new pieces, drawing her inspiration from current fashion trends and of course the stones themselves.

Elaine Haydon’s collection features a wonderful selection of stylish bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and rings, all fashioned from gemstones with fine sterling silver clasps and findings. Each unique Elaine Haydon Jewelry piece is one of a kind, and are designed and handcrafted by Elaine in her home-based studio.
